A new website outlining the research conducted for RERAD Programme 1: Developing Strategies for Profitable, Sustainable Agricultural Frameworks and Food Security has been launched.

Programme 1 is a large, multi-disciplinary, output orientated research programme involving SCRI (Scottish Crop Research Institute), The Macaulay Institute, SAC (Scottish Agricultural College) and BioSS (Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland).

The website provides an overview of the aims and objectives of the programme and also contains reports of the progress made to date. Programme 1 is divided into six work packages:

• Work package 1.3 Soft Fruit Genetics and Pathology
• Work package 1.4 Barley Pathology
• Work package 1.5 Potato Pathology
• Work package 1.7 Sustainable Crop Systems
