Speaker presentations from the recent Improving International Potato Production conference are now available. The conference is Scotland's main event during the 2008 UN Year of the Potato.

It was held at Dundee's Apex Hotel on Friday 8 August 2008 organised by SCRI and its commercial subsidiary Mylnefield Research Services.

Among the conference speakers were Dr Pamela Anderson, the Director General of the International Potato Centre in Peru, and Dr Mike Storey, the Head of Research and Development at the Potato Council.

A high level Chinese delegation, visiting the UK as part of the UK – China Development Dialogue 2008, also attended.
