Advanced Higher Biology Theme Days
5 and 12 November 2009

SCRI hold annual theme days in November each year for sixth year students and teachers designed to link closely with Advanced Higher curriculum. Students will visit a number of laboratories and participate in activities relating to a wide range of techniques and relevant research, learning at first hand from those who chose biology as their career. These days are held with support from the Tayside branch of the British Science Association.

The Living Field Projects

The Living Field Community Garden is a crop and habitat demonstration garden which contains information about arable wildflowers, the environment, habitats, plant care and crop experiments. The garden is part of the SCRI Science Stroll and is freely open to the public during daylight hours.

Organised school visits offer an opportunity to find out more about the garden and engage with our scientists. Visits can be arranged upon request.
