Hundreds of visitors came along to SCRI in Invergowrie on Open Farm Sunday on 13 June 2010 to see behind the scenes and meet our special celebrity guest: TV's Heather 'The Weather' Reid OBE.

Heather was talking about the science of weather forecasting and had two full houses during her talks with lots of interesting questions from the audience. She also spent time meeting visitors at SCRI's own weather station.

The display of farm equipment and tractor rides were especially popular with younger visitors, and The Living Field and weather station were also busy all day with lots of hands on activities.

SCRI is Scotland's world famous centre for crop research and also a LEAF Innovation Centre. We are at the forefront of sustainable farming.
